About True Velocity
Company Overview
Founded in 2012, True Velocity is a technology company redefining how ammunition, weapon systems, and suppressors are made, delivered, and deployed. From composite-cased ammunition to modular manufacturing and next-generation weapons, True Velocity has spent over a decade developing proprietary solutions that enhance performance and empower sovereign capability. Through strategic acquisitions and a strong foundation of intellectual property, True Velocity now offers a full-spectrum ecosystem serving military, commercial, and allied partners around the world.
Manufacturing & Licensing
True velocity has completed the technical data package required to license and deploy its lightweight ammunition production systems to International partners. These modular, scalable manufacturing lines enable governments and commercial entities to establish sovereign production facilities with reduced logistical burden and greater operational flexibility. With compact footprints and simplified supply chains, True velocity's system allows for rapid setup and full-spectrum capability without reliance on legacy infrastructure or volatile material sourcing.
KEY BENEFITS FOR END USERS
- Rapid setup and installation with minimal infrastructure
- In-country, sovereign production capability
- Smaller facility footprint and reduced manpower requirements
- Less reliance on copper and other strategic material

Composite-cased Ammunition
At the heart of True Velocity's innovation is its composite-cased ammunition, designed to outperform traditional ammunition in every category that matters. Offered in calibers including 5.56x45mm, .308 Winchester, 7.62, 6.8TVC, and .50BMG, this ammunition is up to 30% lighter than brass, more consistent, and generates less heat, extending barrel life. True Velocity has delivered over 1 million rounds to the U.S. military as a finalist for the Next Generation Squad Weapon Program (NGSW) for testing and evaluation and has a growing presence in the commercial market through retail partners like Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's, as well as a direct to consumer, online ammo subscription service.
KEY BENEFITS FOR END USERS
- Up to 30% lighter than traditional brass ammunition
- Enhanced accuracy and consistency
- Reduced heat transfer to weapon
- Increased accuracy and terminal effects
- Available in both military and commercial configurations

Recoil Mitigated Weapon Systems
True Velocity's weapons division was launched through the acquisition of Lone Star Future Weapons, itself an acquisition of the small arms division of General Dynamics-OTS. Technology acquired included proprietary short recoil impulse averaging (SRIA) and specific advanced weapon systems, such as the .338 Norma Lightweight Medium Machine Gun, now known as the RM338. True Velocity's weapon offerings further expanded with the development of the RM277 and the RM834 weapon platforms, featuring the same next-generation recoil mitigation technology to further support operations where speed, controllability, and increased lethality are required.
KEY BENEFITS FOR END USERS
- Patented Short Recoil Impulse Averaging (SRIA) technology
- Lightweight, controllable weapon designs
- Increased range, precision, and mission adaptability
- Seamless integration with current military platforms
- Superior overmatch capability in an evolving battlefield

Next-Generation Suppressors
Through the acquisition of Delta P Design, True Velocity added an industry-first, proprietary suppressor to its ecosystem. Delta P's suppressors were the first of its kind to receive a safety-certification for general-purpose machine gun use in the Department of Defense (DoD), reflecting unmatched reliability, durability, and gas management. These suppressors complement True Velocity's lightweight weapons and ammunition for a fully integrated, reduced-signature solution.
KEY BENEFITS FOR END USERS
- Machine gun capability
- Reduced sound and visual signature
- Advanced gas management improves operator safety
- Built with aerospace-grade materials via additive manufacturing
- Fully compatible with True Velocity & existing legacy weapon systems
