Information We Collect
True Velocity's policy is to protect the confidentiality of the individually identifiable information that you provide, and we limit access to that information only to those with a need to know. By visiting the website, True Velocity collects the following information from you automatically: Computer Information and Cookie data as detailed below. In addition, if you choose to complete certain forms, purchase Merchandise from us, or send us requests, you will be asked to provide the following information: full name, street address, city, state ZIP, phone number, e-mail address, payment information, and proper identification documents for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. By utilizing payment tokenization techniques through a 3rd party payment gateway in order to store payment information, your payment information will never be directly handled by, or stored on web servers or any other medium owned and serviced by True Velocity.

Computer Information
True Velocity logs your current Internet address (this is usually a temporary address assigned by your Internet service provider), the type of operating system you are using, the make and model of the device you are using, and the type of browser software used. In addition, True Velocity may keep track of what portions of this Site you are visiting. True Velocity aggregates this information to help True Velocity improve or create a better experience for users of the Site. TRACKING USER BEHAVIOR
For the purpose of enabling better website design and a better user experience, we employ Google Analytics (a web service by Google, Inc.) and Microsoft Application Insights (a cloud based operational monitoring service by Microsoft) to track site traffic and provide aggregate reports of how the public interacts with our website.
Currently, we use Google Analytics to collect e-commerce related information such as: items viewed (such as the pictures that displayed on your screen or any offer/promotions), if you started the checkout process, all cart interactions including add/remove from cart and associated item information such as SKU, item name, resulting quantity, price, any offers being applied to that item at the time and the resulting discounted price, order placed by user and associated information pertaining to that order such as offers used on order, transaction/order ID, items on the order including SKU, name, quantity, price, and discounted price. Information collected on all events includes geographic location from where you connected to the internet, device used to connect (operating system, brand, hardware), browser/user agent utilized, and the time the event occurred.
The transaction ID we collect using Google Analytics may be used to connect Google Analytics data with the other data that we have within other areas of our system about the order, including the user account data related to the order.
Session cookies are employed by Google Analytics in the form of client-side JavaScript code. We use Microsoft Application Insights to monitor and analyze user interactions on our website. This helps us improve performance, identify errors, and enhance the overall user experience. Below are the key points regarding our use of Application Insights:

In utilizing these services, True Velocity maintains its existing standards with regard to the sharing and disclosure of information, security and privacy safeguards for the data, and the data retention policy, each described below. Google Analytics and Microsoft Application Insights analyze website usage information automatically upon visits to the True Velocity website. Users who do not wish to have their visit information collected by Google Analytics or Microsoft Application Insights may opt-out by downloading a browser extension, by disabling cookies in their browser settings, or by using our cookie consent manager accessed by clicking the cookie icon displayed at the bottom left of our website on every page.
